7 Weeks

Logan has been changing so much. He has been busy checking out the things around him and trying to get control of his arms. I think he may have seen his hands the other day and realized that he can control where they go! It was pretty funny. He stretched and raised his arms out and just left them there while he stared at them for a couple minutes. Then all of a sudden he moved them and smiled! He got a pretty funny look on his face. It was definily one of those times I wish I knew what he was thinking!

Anyway- here are some pictures from this week. Over the weekend Tami was holding Logan and he started smiling...another fun trick he's been working on. Mom took the pictures and missed the smile in the first one (but he was on his way to a frown which always follows right after a big smile) but got it big time on the second!

Logan got a bath one night and we must have had the water a little cold cuz he sure snuggled up in his towel after he was done. Mom got a little nervous for these...he was laying there in his towel with no diaper on on her bed! I told her I hoped she got the pictures quick before he decided to be a boy and do anything silly! Luckily we made it!

We're planning to spend the weekend at the lake for the 4th. I'm sure there will be some new adventures there so check back for more pics!

WE SLEPT!!!

I can't believe it...Logan slept all night! He ate last at 1030 last night and didn't wake up again till 6 this morning! I woke up and couldn't believe it! He had a really good day yesterday. He woke up at 9am to eat and just took cat naps during the day until about 7pm when he finally slept while being passed around the table at the cruise night dinner. I am just so excited! Hopefully we'll have many more of these nights to come!

Back to the 50's weekend

This past weekend Logan and I headed down to the cities for the Back to the 50's car show at the state fair grounds. It was quite a weekend. It was really warm out but Logan handled it really well. When he needed a break (or a diaper change) we used the trunk of Grandpa's '55. Needless to say, Logan was a bigger attraction than the cars for most of the people we walked by! Little Bug

Here's some more pictures of Logan lookin cute as a bug!

Ok, so these two need a little explanation...we put Logan in his swing that was propped up in front of the patio door at the lake so he could watch outside while we ate supper. I put a burp cloth under the right side of his head to help him hold it straight and when mom went to check on him after supper this is what we found! I still haven't figured out how he managed to get the cloth up on his head but he didn't seem to mind it! I'm not sure how long he was sitting there like that but he never fussed or anything!

Sound asleep after a tough day at the lake...

Uga, Uga...6 weeks old

I can't believe that it's been 6 weeks already! Logan has changed so much! He is so alert and awake so much more. He looks so hard at things it's funny to watch him. The past week he started cooing (sp???) which was really fun to hear. He makes so many funny sounds. He's gotten into this thing, too, that when you give him his nuk he goes uga, uga, uga...the sound that comes out when he tries to talk to you and suck at the same time! These are just a few of the pictures from this week. Hope you enjoy them!

These got a little blurry but i was trying to get a shot of him stretching. He reaches with both arms over his head and sticks his legs out as far as he can. I always ask him if he's trying to grow when he does it...i get a "one blink for yes" answer!

This weekend we're heading to the cities for the Back to the 50's car show...i'm sure we'll have lots of pictures and stories so look for more next week!
