Colorado...my favorites

I had a great time last year living and teaching in Rifle, Colorado. I was only there for the school year but I managed to get a lot of touristy things done. As you can imagine, I took way too many pictures but I wanted to share a few of the best with you!!!!

This picture is from Rifle Falls State Park...

Aspen in September...

Someone has to check the chair lift in the off season!!! Tia and Sarah were there to help!

Buckle Up!!! Riding in a swing over the edge of a mountain...

are you CRAZY???

I guess we are! Dad, JJ, Tami and I took quite a swing over the Glenwood Canyon!!!

This is the view from a local hidden favorite...Rifle Arch

Rifle Arch will never be the same...right Tia?!?

Chris even came to visit me on the bike!!!
The trip out was interesting...

But the time together was wonderful!!!

Another fun hiking destination...Hanging Lake

Emily and Angie even came to visit for Thanksgiving...this was a tricky hike to Hanging Lake!

We (Tia, myslef and Sarah) lived so close to Aspen...we had to take advantage!!! We even got brave enough to go all the way to the top of the mountain...

...maybe that wasn't such a good idea...

Our last trip was to Moab, Utah to visit Arches National Park...
hiking in the desert in May...I wouldn't suggest it!
These were just a few of the awesome pictures I took on the many adventures we got ourselves into! Thanks for the great year Tia and Sarah!
