1 year check up and a trip to the zoo

Logan had his 1 year well check last week and everything was good. He was 22.5 pounds and 30.5 inches. The doc said he's in about the 70% for height and 30% for weight. Everything looked good though. He had to get 3 shots so that kind of sucked but after we were done at the doctor we went to the zoo to visit some fun animals. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast!

Sorry-this pic is from a while ago and i can't seem to get it off!!!

More Sandbox Fun

First trip to the barber!!!

Before Logan's birthday we took him into Kim for his first haircut at the barber shop! He did pretty well. I think i was covered in more hair than he was when it was all said and done!

Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Logan got to spend a weekend out at Grandma and Grandpa's when Angie and Justin got married. They had quite a time! He was busy playing beek-a-boo over the living room chair...
Telling Grandpa secrets...

And playing in the dish soap suds in the kitchen sink!!

Practicing fishy lips...
Lookin good at Angie's wedding dance! Logan had a blast that night. I've never seen so many little kids at a wedding dance! Logan got hugs and kisses from two little girls on the dance floor!!! What a night!

Birthday Fun!!!

Well, we had the big birthday party a couple weekends ago and it was a pretty fun day. We had everyone out for lunch and a party in the garage. Logan did really good for the long day. For some reason these pics loaded backwords so we'll start on Thursday-his real birthday- we stopped up at the shop and he got a caterpillar dump truck from my mom and dad. He had a blast trying it out! He also liked to sit with Grandpa at the desk and practice punching numbers in the calculator and answering the phone!!!

Grandma Mary got him a handmade rocking horse. When she brought it to the party he was a little scared of it but by monday night he was rocking away!!!

Uncle JJ was helping him "pet the chicken"
Snacking and driving...i guess that's ok!!!
Enjoying his cow cupcake...

Singing and trying to blow out the candle
The cake. I found this recipe in a magazine and thought i'd give it a try. I was pretty proud of how it turned out!!!
Welcome to the world of front facing carseats & cows milk!!!
Happy 1st Birthday Baby!!! Love You!
